My typographic journey was taking my grandparents to the hospital and then going home again.

Design Pioneers of the 20th Century
At first I was given Massimo Vignelli to create my advertisement on. However after researching him I found out that he designed a lot of different things in a wide variety of areas e.g.. product design, internal design, packaging design, furniture design, corporate identities etc. Throughout all these designs I couldn't really see his style of designing. I did create a few design for the A2 poster for a Massimo Vignelli exhibition though.

After being given the option to switch to a different artist I started focusing on Emil Ruder.
I found he had a style that I could work with more easily.
I drew up a couple of designs for the A2 poster in the style of Emil Ruder.
I also drew up some ideas for the Design Pioneers logo.
I started on the logo first and designed my two favourite using Adobe Illustrator.
I chose to use the first one as the Design Pioneers logo.
After choosing the design I decided that ERE for Emil Ruder Exhibition could just be shortened to ER and looked much better too. Below are images of the process I went through to complete my poster.
